Daniel J. Baruffi, O.D., F.A.A.O
Dr. Dan Baruffi is a graduate of Rutgers College and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a graduate of Rutgers College Honors Program, and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
He completed his residency in Primary Care Optometry at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Hospital and his fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry, where he gained extensive experience with low vision and treatment of eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. He has been practicing for over 10 years and is a Lions’ LOVRNET Low Vision Provider.
Dr. Baruffi is also very interested in the treatment of dry eye disease, which affects many patients. He constantly brings new technology to his patients in the form of new diagnostic and treatment techniques, like LipiFlow.
Dr. Baruffi is the president of the Delaware Optometric Association, which aims to protect and improve eye care access and eye care treatment for all Delawareans.
In his spare time, Dr. Baruffi enjoys spending time with wife and daughters as well as biking, sports, and scenic photography. He is fluent in Spanish, to better serve your community!
